A Perfect Day in Rioja

What a great tour! This was a highlight of our trip to Spain. We have done several wine tours in California and Australia, and this was the best. The pacing was great as we began in a very old family winery with a precarious cave tour and ended in a modern winery with all of the technology. We had VIP access to roam the vineyards, see historical winemaking tools, taste grapes as they were being pressed, and see a lab where grapes were being assessed. We had tapas and a tasting in a vineyard, then a lovely lunch in a fortified old town. We bought a few bottles and gave one to Rebeca as a gift; she was so friendly and knowledgeable. One of the best wine experiences we’ve had

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Rebeca. We spent three days touring Rioja and visited some amazing wineries. She was able to organize special, personalized, and private experiences that otherwise would not have been available to us. Fabulous, fun tour

Rebecca designed a day tour for myself and my husband providing us with a variety of experiences. Our day included visiting a boutique family winery where we had the opportunity to blend our own wine, visiting underground caves used for wine storage and sampling from within the huge storage tanks to then wandering the stunning village above the caves and enjoying lunch outdoors. Pointing out that there are many, many wineries to choose from to visit we also were treated to an exceptionally appealing designed winery consisting of a conglomeration of small wine growers to make one large business. Amazing day in Rioja!

I booked a private day tour with Rebeca for me and my girlfriend and let’s just say this was the highlight of our trip to Spain.
Rebeca picked us up promptly in the morning in San Sebastian then took us down to the Rioja region where we visited 3 great wineries. Rebeca quickly became our best friend, and took amazing photos of us throughout the day (great bonus!). She is very knowledgeable on the region, the wine, and is so friendly.
Everything from the communication, transportation, wineries, company and parting gift (a bottle of wine from Rebeca’s family vineyard) was top notch. Fantastic tour with the perfect host and every detail included to enhance our tasting.

Rebeca is a fabulous guide and such a delightful person. She went out of her way to show us highlights we would never have known were there to access!
Lookouts, amazing buildings and of course, two wonderful wineries.
The oldest winery was amazing with the tour by the owner – fourth generation family guide and tasting supremo! We saw the very traditional winemaking ways they still practice. Take your jacket – it’s cold 14 metres underground!
The modern winery was so beautifully presented – especially when it came time for lunch and the best home-made tortilla in Spain (or maybe the world?) in a delightful garden bowery setting. The chateau building in the vines contrasted with the high-tech processing of the wine.
